After the B'nai B'rith complained of his portrayal of Jews, D. W. Griffith cut the Jesus Story in the film "Intolerance" (1916) to 12 minutes in his three-hour epic film.
Only Caiaphas is guilty of Jesus's death in the Cecil B. DeMille film "The King of Kings" (1927), revised after it's release to satisfy Jewish groups.
