I did search for this, but couldn't find it..don't flame me if this is a repost..
Staples has this for 179.99 (not available online, out of stock atleast in OH)...

Staples price = 179.99
Microcenter sells it for 149.99
Use the 20 off coupon that you got in e-mail.
Total will be 179.99-30.00(PM)-20.00(coupon)-50.00(MIR) = 79.99

not bad for a philips monitor with a max resolution of 1280x1024, 0.27 mm...

just take the microcenter circular, or print it from the webpage (if they have)..and take it to the sales clerk, and they will do it for ya! its that easy...just tell them you need the price guarantee.

I dont know about your local staples ... But the manager at mine gave me this " we can do the pricematch or the coupon but you cant do both" I'd like to know if anyone else had this problem and if there is any supporting information that says they can and /or should accept both. I mean I figure its their policy to match prices... and they are also the ones issuing the coupons... seems like u should be able to use both.

Where can I find info on the microcenter offer, their website doesn't seem to have any product info.

Kavrok: "This offer may not be used with any other discounts or promotions..."

PM is a promotion, just like coupons therefore you can't use them together. (That is if one or the other has a line like the one above on it.)

actually, the one time that I PM with staples online, I was able to use a coupon after PM. I think it depends on the sales person you talk to. Good luck.

I did use the coupon after pricematching, and it is totally legal. or else do this, buy the monitor using the coupon, and go to staples again the next day or so, and ask for a price guarantee. they simply cannot reject the request. hope this helps.

For anyone who is interested in the monitor...

I have the exact same model monitor, Philips 107s. Compared to other low-priced monitors that I compared it against before I bought it (e.g., KDS's low end monitors), I thought this had MUCH better picture quality. The colors are very bright & vibrant. If anything, it's almost TOO bright. But I'd rather have than than too dull. :)

If I'm not mistaken, it does 1024x768 up to 85 Hz, and 1280x1024 up to 60 Hz. That's the only bad thing about it, is that it doesn't do flicker-free 1280x1024.

Hope this helps anyone who was wondering...

how'd you get the b&m staples (the physical store itself) to pricematch from a webpage u printed off the internet?

the dick manager said they only pricematch stores within a 50 mi radius. not stores on the internet.

Just did this deal at the Hollywod B&M. They called to check the PM and would not accept the 30 off 150 coupon code, but they did accept the 20 off 100 email printed coupon.

Now to hook it up and check it out....

Got the thing hooked up and tweaked. It's a very good monitor, sharp text, vivid colors. Good focus in center and at all corners.

The case is small for a 17" screen.

For $80 you can't go wrong!

I also have one of these.
Small footprint and pretty nice, though the difference is noticable next ot my Iiyama. :)

Is this the Philips 107B10 17" Monitor? And is there any way you can scan a copy of the ad so that us poor people with no Microcenter close to us can take advantage of the price match?

If you keep calling you will eventually find a CSR who will let you PM and use the Coupon.
