I'm trying out MotherBoard Probe with my new ECS k7s5a because a few people have been using it. My mobo is reading at 33C and my cpu is at 46C when idle. When I get a little resource intensive it goes up to about 55C (the cpu). is this too hot? I have a WBK38. All of the voltage settings seem to be messed up so I haven't been using those.

55C huh...I have the same HSF for Duron 800@968. f/load is only 53C, mobo temp 40C. Wht termal compound u have there? R u using the termal pad supply w/ the HSF? If yes, then scrap the pad off & apply ASII. This should lower ur temp a abit. 2nd, better case cooling will help as well. 1 80mm intake fan in the front of the case & 1 80mm exhaust at the back of the case should do the trick.

I am using Arctic Silver II. I was just wondering how hot is too hot for my 1.4? I would think if yours is 53C then mine is pretty cool since my processor runs much hotter than yours. Maybe I'm missing something though.

Thanks.

My settings for MBProbe are (at idle):

SiS950:1 = 26C
SiS950:2 = 33C
SiS950:3 = 48C

Just to make sure... what one is my processor reading?

Also, my vccp2 is at 2.48 and my -5 is at -1.59

I appreciate any help.
