All is not lost you last minute valentines shoppers. Screw the online rip-off flower companies. Stop by your local trader joes (traderjoes.com) and pickup a dozen red roses for $19.99 no rebates, pricematching or coupons needed. Not 100% about the length, i called and they said they're medium to long length, (around 15" or so) This was in the Oregon/Washington market, pretty sure it should be a nationwide deal though.

They are $14.99 for one dozen at Costco.

Costco has an apology posted for this price as they regularly sell for 12.94 for 2 dozen. Seem prices go up on Feb 14.

Yup. The Trader Joe's in San Gabriel, CA (corner of Rosemead and Huntington) has them for $19.99.

I remember the flyer for Albertson and Safeway have it for less than $19. Some of them are just plain roses without nice packaging.
