I'll bite
When I was a kid I got interesred in astronomy with a pair of binoculars, I got a little 3 inch reflector, then a refractor and pretty soon I was grinding my own mirrors and building my own scopes..I suppose I should have gotten out of the dark
I got a chemistry set, pretty soon I had a lab then a bunch of labs, I suppose I should have stayed out of the fumes
I had a lincoln head penny, then a mercury head dime, then an interset in money and ... I suppose I should have kept my hands in my pockets and never looked at that penny
I had a computer just like my peers, I'd never opened the case, I could get electricuted according to the warning, I ran a seti client, it was to slow, so what the hell that processor had to go...then it needed company, a network, a new operating system . . . I got out of the house.... cause it was to damm hot in the summer. . . but I learned a hell of a lot more from each of these than the flames throwers who may have been out of the house but who have never looked at the sky
