Sometimes since I have updated to detonator 3 Windows doesn't shutdown fully...
I have got the latest 4-in-1 drivers from www.viahardware.com but there are still problems, is there a updated Detonator driver that solves the problem???

I've always had this problem since I had my FIC VA-503+ and an S3 Savage4 card.. I've never been able to correct this problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

I doubt this is causing the problem, but you could try the "shutdown supplement" patch on the windows update site. It was for win98se only. It was supposed to stop windows from hanging at the splash screen on shutdown.

I had that problem w/ the det 3 6.31 on w/ DX8 on my win ME system, got a windows protection fault, going to the beta 7.X drivers fixed it though.

Yeah I had the same problem....it's the Detonator 6.31 drivers. I went back to the 5.x and everything worked fine

I had a similar problem and I disabled the fast shutdown option and now it works great! Don't ask me how to turn it off, I used Winboot2000 to do it!😎
