Fixing my PS3

Hey so my ps3 will not read blu-rays anymore, but it will still read dvds and ps2 games. I was thinking the lens has died but when I opened the ps3 up and tried putting in a disc, the lens still flashes blue, red, and infrared which means I'm guessing the lens is fine? I don't want to replace the lens and realize its something else. Anyone know wut else could be the problem? Model is CECHE01, 80gb version.

Might be best just to buy another one. I imagine anybody who doesn't know how to spell "what" will not be able to fix a ps3.

But just because the lens produces lasers doesn't mean something else in that assembly isn't broken. That just means it might not be the diodes. The lens could be mis-tracking or something.
