Not sure if this belongs here or in software, but...

A lot of times when I take basic P&S photos with my new camera, the flash will create bright spots on peoples foreheads from the combination of light + sweat/grease. Is there an easy way to touch these up with photoshop? I've mostly been using the smudge tool which works okay for smaller spots, but was wondering if theres a better way?

Also, the red eye tool works well for removing red-eye, but sometimes leaves a white spot in the center of the eye from the flash as well. Is there a good way to fix this?

Thanks!

Powder or oil blotting tissue. If you can't do those, then control your specular highlights. If you're stuck with post processing as your only fix, then try cloning at varying opacity on the edges of your highlights to smooth them out.

As for the white spot, it's probably a catchlight. If you don't want it, then clone it out.
