Fixing charging port on Sprint GS3?

My friend realized today that his charging port on his Sprint Galaxy S3 phone is not working. He has a backup phone, but he wanted me to see if anyone on here is able to replace it? Or if you can refer me to someone and tell me what it should cost?

(if you can't fix the port, or too expensive)

you can convert the phone to be Qi-compatible, and use a Qi-charger for charging, and WiFi for any data transfer

that was one option.. I think the S3 is QI compatible out of the box
