Hi Guys,
I decided to buy logitech MX1000 mouse after reading excellent reviews all over the internet.....and it was gr8 mouse, while it lasted...which happens to be just 4 months
.
I had imported it from US, as the price at which it is available here (India) is ridiculous...so i can't claim warranty on it from Logitech India and sending it back to US would be to costly..
The problem i'm facing is the mouse starts skipping badly occasionally and it becomes worse when i charge it..Found from internet i've tried 3 solutions:
1.Connected it to PS/2 Port instead of USB Port
2.Placed the reciever much closer to the mouse
3.Cleaned the area around the mouse sensor with cotton bud
The 1st action helped somewhat but not much
So i wanted to know, if there is anything else i can do, to fix the mouse, I'm willing to do any h/w mods if required(that's why i'm posting it here in Highly Technical Section)..
Regards,
