Fixing a spring loaded hinge

I recently got a Codgen case with a spring loading sliding door for the CD. Unfortunately, when I first use it, the spring popped off and I can't find it. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Real high quality case there... busts itself on the first use.

Chances are, it uses a spring similar to those found in spinning reels (for fishing). If there is another door, or the busted one has a second spring, look at it (or take it off) and get a replacement from your local tackle shop. Otherwise, contact the [crap] case manufacturer and get them to replace the drive cover.
