Fixing A Java Error - How?

I am no longer able to access my e-mail account. The error message I get reads as follows:"java.lang.Unsatisfied Link Error.com/ms/applet/Applet Panel.secure Class Load Possible causes:If you are trying to use J/". Can someone interpret this and suggest a solution. I have all the browser settings at their default. I am using IE 5.0 and have upgraded with Service Pack 2.

Try to get into it using Netscape...both browsers have different Java security overrides, so if the IE side is broken, you might still be able to get through via Netscape.

good luck,

I fixed one problem and now got another the has just been created. The error message reads: "Object Expected." In the bottom left hand corner above Start is a triangle with an exclamation mark. When I click that I get a message box with the above noted error. How do I fix this one?I did a download and can access my web-based e-mail account but not other pages which utilize java such as sending private messages in this forum. I used the following link

MSJava

and downloaded the version for Win 2000.
