Fixing a damaged AGP connector?

Back in high school we built a bunch of strobe lights. On some of the pcb's the traces got fubarred so we just used a pencil to fix them. Graphite conducts really well.

That works well for motheroards, but not for AGP slot connectors; the pencil lead (Graphite) will rub off as soon as he inserts the card in to the AGP slot. The loose graphite will come into contact with other electrical points and will cause a short circuit.
