I have this apparently badly damaged CDRW that my computer really can't read. the cd itself is not damaged, no scratches. i think i may have messed it up by using packet writing (i know i know, i shouldn't have) and to make it worse i think i made one session using roxio directcd and another using nero's incd.

i tried using a disk dump and got an ISO file, which first of all dumped 700 MB when the cd has probably 50 MB on it, and ended up not working anyway!!

i also tried using a data recovery method which found lots of data but couldn't copy it.

does anyone know of any free/ free trial cd repair programs? like a scandisk for cd's?

thanks

there is no program for fixing CDRWs, you just gotta chuck the CDRW and start with a new one
