I was removing the video card from my Biostar T-Force 550 and knocked off one the capacitors. Unfortunately, the board is out of warranty (just over a year) and in any case it looks like such damage wouldn't be covered. Is it possible to simply resolder the capacitor on, and if so, does it have a specific polarity and how would I be able to tell? If I make a mistake and power it up, would it cause damage to the chip or cards? (The capacitor that fell off is the one right behind the PCI-E x16 slot in this image -- it's the rightmost one in the set of four on the top side of the board behind the PCI-E slots.)
Thanks in advance for any advice and help.
