Fixing 1156 mobo pins

Hi. I have this motherboard and some of the pins are a bit bent. I got a electrical Jeweler's pliers and a magnifying glass. Would it damage the CPU in any way if I tried to fix the mobo and use them?

Thanks

If you do it right then you should be fine. Make sure not to pull out any pins though.

Get a fine tip mechanical pencil and take the lead out, use that, it works like a champ. Make sure the board is locked down tight, and very gently work the pins out. The mechanical pencil works good because you can straighten from the base where the bend typically occurs. Do not use the pliers, as they will be a magnitude less ideal for this job.
