Exactly what information does the MB BIOS report (before booting into Windows, Linux, etc), on the memory?
* Voltage
* DIMM slots populated
* Capacity of populated slots
 
* Voltage - 2.5v (what motherboard used when auto was selected)
* DIMM slots populated - slots 1 and 2 (there are only two available)
* Capacity of populated slots - maximum memory for the board is 2 gigabytes, so 1 gigabyte per slot
 
Sounds like a high-density/low-density conflict. Registering only half of the memory is a common symptom. Does it only show half of each stick, when they are plugged in one at a time? Otherwise, it might just be a bum DIMM if you only get half of the total.
 
It shows half of each stick whether it is in separately or together. Would that cause CPU-Z and Everest to incorrectly report the memory as well though?
