It's just a regular lan port. I am using the Marvel rather than the Nvida, because I was getting BSOD's every time I connected to the internet using the Nvidia one. I just disable the Nvidia LAN, and have had no trouble using the marvel. What type of internet connection are you using?
 
i am at uconn right now. When i disable the nvidia one and enable the marvell one, it says it is connected in the network connections, but whenever i try to sign online it is like i am not connected
