fixed: xbox says my account info is invalid and I can't sign in

Won't let me sign into my gamertag. I can sign in via xbox.com with my same information as always, so nothing was hacked or changed. Yet I'm being told by my xbox that my account info is somehow invalid. I'm going through the profile recovery right now so we'll see if that makes a difference. If so then it could be the memory card that I keep my profile on died (yay MS accessories). If not then I'll need the wisdom of AT to help fix my problem.
