Something curious happend while I was formatting the new 120GB drive. When I formatted it, it said Formatting 51,703.95M... Shouldnt it be twice that for a 120GB? And if so, why would it not see the full 120GBs when Fdisking and Formatting?

Any suggestions?

Format and reinstall sounds like the best option. Probably the easiest solution also. You could also try getting into safe mode and uninstalling Norton.

If you do format and reinstall, stay away from WinME.

Thanks Minendo. He went out and bought a new 120GB Maxtor today and the way Im going to do is this:

Fdisk and Format the new drive. Load WinME onto it and Norton AV 2003. Then connect it to the internet and update the Norton until its completely updated. Once done, I will connect the infected drive as the secondary slave and use the new master to scan and eliminate the virii on the old drive.
