Hello.

I just installed my components and they all worked and I went into BIOS and configured the CPU speed.
Then I put in Windows XP Pro Disc and it started installing...I have a Logitech Elite Keyboard, and then on the Windows Agreement, it asked me to press f8 so i could "agree", but I tried pressing f8 and it wouldn't work.

So, I got another keyboard out and took the Logitech one out. Suddenly, the system restarts.

I figured that if the Windows installation worked, the computer would work and BE AWARE THE FIRST TIME I INSTALLED ALL COMPONENTS, I INSTALLED THEM ON THE MOTHERBOARD WHICH WAS ON THE MOTHERBOARD BOX. After I found out that Windows would work and I took out the keyboard and it restarted, I just shut it down. Then, I installed the motherboard into the case knowing that it would work. I installed everything the same way it was.

Now, when I boot up, it's just like regular. It asks me if I want to go to SETUP or CONTINUE. If I continue, It will come up with some Raid Screen. I have 2 IDE cables, 1 for SEAGATE 160GB IDE 7200RPM that's on MASTER and another IDE on LITE-ON 48X24X48X16 CD-RW/DVDROM which is also on MASTER.

I have the HD IDE set on primary. Anyway, after the RAID screen, I get this "Checking DMI Pool Data... Update Successful" Screen. I try to press something and it will just make a noise but it won't go anywhere.
It just shows IRQ's of each component and such.

I am totally stuck...

Help? Would resetting CMOS help?

Since you aren't using raid, you should probably disable the raid controler in your BIOS. Also how do you have your boot order set up? Sounds like it may be trying to find something on the raid controler, doesn't find anythings, so just sits there.
