FIXED No DVI w/ X850XT

I have two nearly identical systems, one w/ an X850XT, the other w/ an X1950XT. I cannot get DVI to work w/ the X850XT on one of my LCDs, while it works on the other. I have tried every combination between the two systems, ie. cables, monitors, cards, etc. and it is only the one LCD it doesn't work on. It works in Safe Mode, but once it boots into Windows, all i get is a color spectrum/splash. Any clues?



EDIT...Fixed! Refresh was rate set @ 75 that was the culprit, set it to 60 and now it works.

i had this problem when i reformated my sisters computer. hers is vga tho. i think it was something with the drivers or something. even tho the drivers were the latest one.xept on her screen it just went black. it fixed it self after like 100 reboots tho so good luck

I thought it was a driver issue as well, so tried several different sets on 3 different systems with no luck. This one of the weirdest problems i've seen yet.

Make sure you have the proper inf file for the moniter that isn't working correctly... its possible that its receiving too high a refresh rate from the X850.
