OK, I was working on embedding audio in a web page, and was testing it out by viewing the pages on my machine. The exact syntax I used was <EMBED SRC=&quot;msss.mp3&quot;> I figured that I would just test the EMBED tag by embedding an MP3, since I was testing on my local machine it didn't matter that the embedded file was large. Anyway, when I opened the file in IE the first time, everything worked as expected. I figured I'd test it under Netscape as well so I downloaded the newest stand alone version of Navigator (4.08). When I installed Netscape, I told it not to associate itself with any files. Netscape refused to play the file, and I didn't want to download a plug-in so I uninstalled Netscape as I had the information I needed. Then I tried to open the file again in IE, but all I got was a missing image placeholder and when I clicked on it IE said that it did not have an ActiveX control to play the file. IE should be using Windows Media Player to open the file as it is an MP3 file. Anyone know how I can get this thing fixed? Now I remember why I hate Netscape.

Got this fixed, thanks.
