*FIXED* Need a little help with my wireless

Hey guys,
I'm trying to set up a wireless connection to another computer but I have a little bit of trouble doing so.
I've got my main rig running upstairs with Windows 7. It is connected to a Linksys WRT610N wireless router. I've got another computer downstairs in the basement running Windows XP Pro and it's got a Linksys WMP600N wireless adapter.
So I've set up my router and now I'm trying to connect with the computer downstairs. I enter the network password and it says that it is connected and "renewing ip". After about 30 seconds of trying to renew the ip, it fails.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?
I can connect my iphone and use it on the network without any problems but the computer downstairs just won't connect.

Any help is appreciated!
