Bought an 89 Regal Medallion 185 a couple weeks back and had to replace the water impeller, all 3 bellows (ujoint, exhaust, and shift cable), plus the gimbal bearing and shift cable. Also had to fix my trim sensor.
Finally got it all fixed up, put it all back together, and my starter just clicked. Took it apart and it was full of rust. Cleaned it all up, regreased everything, adjusted the brush tension, etc, all back together, (had to reseal it), and finally got out on the water. Fun fun times. Glad to have a working boat again.
