I got an iPod Touch for Christmas, and today I finally got a chance to try it out. I'm connecting my Shure E2C headphones to it, but the volume is really loud.
It seems like the volume control isn't doing anything. If I click the volume all the way down, the sound turns off, but one click up and it's loud again. There is no middle ground.
I've got the latest firmware on it. Sound check, volume limit and EQ are disabled. What am I missing?
FIXED: I tried resetting the settings and the problem seems to be fixed.
