FIXED: Internet Explorer - All images are unclear!

Hey all.

I was just looking at a friend's computer where in IE6, ALL images are unclear. Everything looks a little pixelated. I tried enabling/disabling auto image resizing and dithering, but that didn't help.

My friend insists on sticking with IE6, and he refuses to try an alternative browser.

Has anyone seen this before? Any recommendations?

TIA!

I forgot to mention that in other programs (e.g., Paint), images appear fine. If I save an image from IE to the HD and then open it up in Paint, it's perfectly clear.

So I suspect it's some setting in IE.

Problem solved! The fonts DPI (Display Properties -> Advanced) was set to Large (120 dpi), rather than normal (96 dpi). Returning this to 96 dpi fixed the problem.
