Yeah so ever since I put my new audigy 2 in i got crackling in my new, AND LOUD, logitech z2300's. Even if I turned them all the way down, I could listen closely and still hear the crackling...
Creative is stupid, their audigy 2 soundcards come with about 4 different control panels to adjust settings, yet some of these panels have settings that seem to overlap other panel's settings.
but anyways, I went into the surround-mixer panel and lowered the volume to only 65%. This made things quiet in games, in which I turned up the volume knob on the speakers and the bass knob. I was back at normal volume level, but without the crackling.
So yes, prob fixed, but is this correct? Seems like it shouldn't have been crackling in the first place, so do I still have a problem and just found a temporary way around it and am missing out on better sound? NE1 got experiance with this
