Fix for vista not saving folder settings

If you use or are considering getting vista you really should download and read the tweak guides , guide to vista. It was just updated 10/2008 so its current.

One thing about vista that annoyed me was the folder options not saving, or rather not being able to set all folders to one layout type.

I have to second the recommendation on this guide. Koroush Ghazi has been doing an excellent job on these guides for years from a informed perspective. He has thorough knowledge of how Windows works and tries to convey that information to the reader. Most guides tweak for the sake of tweaking, but in theses guides tweaking is only recommended based on things that actually work.

Try some of the other guides too, like the one on Firefox or Nvidia drivers.
