Now, I don't know if the souce is good or not, but that proves one thing, British cooking is rather bland. :D

I never did get why americans let their politicians be so pompous. Its not just the president or this particular thing, but the way nearly all american politicians act.

We are just as British as Britain is when it comes to peerage.. we don't call some 'honorable' or if a higher placed common 'right honorable' or 'Your Grace or My Lord' but, it is in our DNA. We want them to be as they are.. so we can have someone to look up to. It is why the Congress sits way.... way up there and the audience sits way.... way down there. Politicians are the Royal Family and our Movie stars are the Dukes, Marquess', Earls, and lessors... the Rich are Rich in either place and in a class of their own.
