Fitting the slk900u

Besides attaching a few cables, this baby is ready to go. It?s a P4 system and I?ve fitted the Slk900u to it. I?ve fitted the slk900u twice now, first time I pulled it off because I thought id redo the thermal compound application. What I noticed when I did, there was slight markings & impressions on parts of the cpu where the two sides edges of the slk900u made contact with the cpu. Is this normal? Do other people get some marks on the cpu as a result of using the slk900u? How tightly do people fit this thing? When I screwed the final 4 screws in (the ones with the springs on them), I didn?t use that much force, I simply tightened them till they wouldn?t turn any longer.
