Fitting the alpha8045 on the AthlonXP

Has any one tried fitting the alpha8045 on the new XP chips, as i was just wondering if it was wise to put an extra washer on each screw from the start as the new xp chips are slightly smaller than the Thunderbirds from what i can see, anyone any ideas ?

Several people have asked this question. The short answer is to install the heat sink with no change in procedure. And that's straight from AMD.
