I recently moved from Manhattan where I lived for nearly 35 of my 40 years of life. I have always lived near the river and have become an avid fisherman. Been fishing in the east river for over 20 years and have amassed quite a bit of fishing gear. A couple of months ago I moved to East Wiliamsburg Brooklyn and have taken my bike all over the Brooklyn side of the east river and cannot find any fishing spots! Anyone from around Wiliamsburg Brooklyn who knows of any fishing spots or fishing clubs? I hate having to travel back to Manhattan to fish at my old fishing hole and would prefer somthing closer. A fishing store near my job in Manhattan says there is a group who meets near the bridge to fish but I could not find it. Fishers, please contact me!
