I'm not moving anything around. Big corporations own the government and they'll continue to make record profits with or without a cliff.

Most people should have their 401k or fed equivalent invested mostly in stocks (both US and international) with only a small amount of bonds based on your age. In a 401k, pick index funds if you can.

You could put 100% in the L fund and they'd take care of that for you.

There is no reason to move anything around. There will be some last minute "deal" to kick the can down the road, further screwing future generations. Revenues (taxes) will be raised, the middle class will get hammered even harder, and spending will continue to increase unabated. Hooray, everyone loses.
