I know the first game I probably played was pong or something like pong but the game I truly remember playing vividly was a game called Congo Bongo. It was sorta like the first Donkey Kong. You were a hunter that had to dodge a bunch of obstacles that a gorilla was setting you up against.

Does 'Reader rabbit' count way back in the DOS days and Win3.1 and i was a little kid? lol Not really a VIDEO game though, there has been plenty between that and Quake 1. Three i can think of is Sierra Incredible Machine 2, Papyrus IndyCar Racing or something.., and Red Baron by microprose i think

I remember I had a video game system with a sort of centipede chasing after stuff in a Pacman type maze...totally forget the name or system though

Anyone know the name of this game/system?

First one I had that I can name is Super Mario Bros. on NES :)

That 3 vs 3 man football game on the Atari. Man that was a long time ago. It was probably more fun the current or past crop of football games, TECMO Bowl excluded.

The first one I ever saw was when I was a teen at the beach. I have no idea what the name was but it was a very simple black and white tv screen with a field of moving stars. The goal was to move this little rocket shaped thing to the top of the screen without hitting any of the stars. It had a joystick that moved it left, right, up, or down only. No diagonals etc.

Edit: Researched this a bit and I think it was called Space Race. You could not move left or right, only up.
