First Upgrade in Over 2 Years! Help!

I've currently got a system running an unlocked 1 Ghz T'Bird at 1.3 Ghz. Way past the time for an upgrade!

I've decided on a 2.4 Ghz P4C, but I'm stumped on the right mobo. I was looking at the Abit AI7, but just read an article that says it is only a fair board for overclocking.

I was also looking at the Abit IC7-Max3, which is reportedly fast, very stable and awesome for overclocking (love the cooling config), but the price tag is very high and I really don't need all the built in RAID capabilities.

Any recommendations on a fast, stable and highly overclockabe mobo for a P4C (preferably with Gigabit LAN) would be greatly appreciated. Tx.

There was one review I read that did some pretty detailed testing and found that the AI7 had isues with high FSBs.

However, after scouring the review sites for the last 20 minutes, I couldn't find the article again. I'll post it if I find it. Tx for the feedback though.
