AICN (Very Minor & Easily Avoidable Spoilers)

My favorite [spoiler free] tidbits:

Which bring me to the following conclusion: those people out there who rued the day Michael Bay picked up directing duties for Transformers are idiots....There is NO OTHER director working today who could have provided the over-whelming spectacle that I witnessed last night. Exhilarating, and then some. This movie is exactly what a 2 hour live-action Transformers episode should be.

There are so many individual action set pieces I can?t and won?t tell you. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them is a winner...

Steve Jablonsky delivered a thumping great score...

CG. Flawless in every respect...Michael has come a long way since the blurred pixels of Armageddon. I think the biggest compliment I can pay ILM for this is that not once during the movie did I stop and think ?Wow, great CG!? It worked perfectly in hand with the story and action like it should. Very impressed!

Meagan Fox. Too sexy to continue typing with one hand...Shia Le Beof. Great in the lead. Very funny, dramatically convincing and charismatic. He worked well to hold his own against his metallic co-stars.

I don?t want to over-sell this and come off all leafy but this, for me is an instant classic of mega-proportions (I just over-sold it, didn?t I?)!

He's a good actor to this point in his career. He did great in Holes.

I'm guessing that midnight showings are pretty much guaranteed for this thing, with all the buzz around it. Just as well; midnight crowds are the best to see certain movies with.

Independence day, baby! The day we get independence from the monotony of movies that've been coming out lately... okay they're not all that bad, but some are kinda meh.

I'd have the biggest grin on my face if they included the original theme song.

Here is an updated kind of hip-hoppish/dance/rock (WHAT ELSE!) theme from that Sector Seven viral site. I don't know if this is theme going to be used in the movie or not.

I initially hated the robot designs, but some of the toys have grown on me. Blackout (the Helicoptor) is awesome in robot mode. Scorponok (the Deluxe model, not the tiny one that comes with Blackout) looks great as a Scorpion, though his robot mode sucks. "Gamera" mode looks a lot better, as shown in this review http://youtube.com/watch?v=PT5sf8BVWk8 Barricade's not great, but I like the cop car mode. Brawl's really cool, but I've seen on a japanese sight that they're releasing a bigger version in the future. Bonecrusher looks good in the movie footage, though I'm really iffy on the toy. Starscream... well, the robot mode is awful. Megatron, from the pictures I've seen, sucks, Bumblebee does nothing for me. Jazz kind of blows, but they're releasing a "repaint" that makes him look like the original G1 toy. They're doing the same thing with Starscream, though he STILL doesn't look much like the original, with or without the new colors. Ironhide looks not bad. I hate the colors, but Ratchet's vehicle and robot modes look pretty neat. I'm considering getting the "realformers" that turn into a camera and a phone just to screw with people. :D

My son picked out the 'proto-form' Optimus Prime toy. The vehicle mode is kind funky but the robot mode is sweet. Very poseable and nice transformation.

I've heard bad reviews of the movie Bumblebee. Something about the front-end not staying when transformed into the car. They're supposedly fixing that though.

I'm not a poster there, but I tend to follow the Transformer toy threads at Somethingawful in the generalbullsh!t forum. I don't hang out at Transformer websites because, to be frank, I'm not hardcore about the stuff. I'm planning on buying more Binaltech stuff when I have cash, want the Masterpiece stuff (check out Megatron, it. looks. good.), and am interested in G1 related toys (some of the Titanium series, some of the movie stuff, etc) but some fans can be... scary. And obsessed.

Anyway, it's questionable if it's worth the price, not having seen it released yet, but were I to get a movie Bumblebee (and to be frank, his face really freaks me out), I'd get the Ultimate Bumblebee toy http://youtube.com/watch?v=vaMfRTAI3OY

Also, they're making an MP3 player Soundwave. The robot mode looks FANTASTIC. Instead of being tapes though, Rumble and Frenzy are going to be earbuds. http://tfarchive.com/community...ead.php?threadid=39050

Here's the Jazz/Screamer repaints I mentioned http://transformers.target.com...te.net/img/ENERGON.pdf
Ratchet repaint (and more Starscream)

G1 characters unlockable in upcoming movie game

She's with that kid from 90210.

In an interview, she basically says she's a nympho who screws all over the house 24/7.

Niiice.

click!
even though those jeans are probably covering up the nice lower body that she has... she has that girl-next-door look to her that just makes her so dammed desirable.

NSFW
high-res and oh-so-hot :D

edit:
and on topic for the movie itself
i cannot wait
and im split. Go see it first with some good friends and really freaking enjoy it... or go see it before any of y'all and enjoy the fact that I saw it first. hmm
And by that, I mean.. I can see it July 2nd or something like that. I work at a movie theater and we have to screen the film to make sure that it looks right. And hot damn so I want to take up that offer, but I dunno. I'm probably going to end up seeing the movie like three times in theaters anyway. Got two groups of friends that I am going to take to go see it, and hell who knows, may take the family to go see it to (all people who get in for free due to me :) )
I do, really really wanna see it at the drive-in though. Summer action movies on a nice cool summer night in the bed of your truck... can it get any better?

I don't know that I'll make it on opening night, but I'll see it by the second weekend.
