Ok basic setup;

2 Computers

1st using WinXp

2nd Win98se

Both have ethernet cards and I am using cable with cable modem setup. Currently I'm using a hub to connect the pc's but have had no luck in trying to connect the Win98se computer to the interent. I have one cable going to the cable modem to the hub. A second cable to the WinXp computer to the hub and then a third from the Win98se computer to the hub. Can I provide a connection to both these computers with this setup or am I required to get a router? I've ran the home networking software on each of the computer to no luck thus far. Only have an internet connection to the WinXp pc atm.
