Greetings.
As I can't reach for the ~1000 dollars build, I create a thread.
Checklist:
1 Main use will be gaming/browsing. Frequently played games include skyrim/borderlands/console emulators.
2 I'm trying to aim for a little under a 650 euro budget. (about 850 dollars). That's actually closer than I thought to a thousand.
3 I'm french, so I would prefer to buy from france. If this bothers you, when I checked yesterday my parts could be shipped to me by amazon.co.uk.
4 As indicated, I can pass by
amazon.co.uk. I would prefer passing by
amazon.fr, but it does have a tendency to try and rip you off. Other french sites include
rueducommerce.fr/home/index.htm and
materiel.net/
5 I do not have a brand preference.
6 I currently have a laptop, so I can't reuse any parts
7 I don't know how, and won't overclock my system.
8 I have absolutely no idea what resolution I'll be using, but I never felt bothered by smaller than average resolution. However, if it somehow affects performance, please tell me.
9 I'd prefer building before the end of August.
I suppose I'll also need a new windows license.
Using logical Increments, I currently am considering
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Brein/saved/2ahk this. (if this link doesn't work, the contents are the first line from the "very good" tier at logical increments.
This amount to 605 euros using amazon.co.uk, but I'm missing a keyboard and an OS.
I'd also like to ask if I should consider buying an OEM license or if that's impossible.
As well, I have never assembled a computer in my life, so will I need cables and/or accessories to hold it all together?
Finally, will 4 Go RAM be enough? Would and SSD have an impact on more than launching and loading times?
Thank you in advance.
Oh, and feel free to point english errors you might spot, I'm still learning.
