First time to Vegas - What should I check out?

This Thur I am going to be in Vegas for 4 days for work. However, the nights are all mine. I am staying right on the strip. My gambling budget is going to be $500 in the casinos and I plan on using that for BlackJack and Slots. Are there any goods shows or other night life I should hit up?
 
There is a free magazine that will list current shows/costs of night life. Available as most hotels.

You will currently be competing with Comdex this week.

Do a search on threads regarding Vegas.

Problem with those magazines is that they make everything look good 🙂
Comdex is actually ending the day I get there.
