First time recieving money on paypal UPDATE: pay pal says

The person says they sent their money but im not seeing it...help please

OK so this is my first time using paypal to acutally recieve moneys Now i login into my paypal and it shows no recent activity at all and my paypall balance is 0.00. i am really confused, where is my money? 😕 does it take a while to go through or something?

UPDATE: OK, so now I just recieved message back from my buyer saying
Joe, I checked my paypal account again and there is the transaction from Oct 10th at 7:30 AM PDT to Joe Greenfield for $220. I just used the pay here icon on My Ebay and paid with Paypal, the same way I have for every other item I have purchased through ebay.

Then i went into MY EBAY, and under sold items I clicked the view paypal payment action, and it brings me to a paypal login page except with the error message at the top reading: The transaction ID in your link is invalid. What is this about? 😕 :|
 
Ask them to email you their receipt.

It will look like this (details edited out):

They said it was sent this morning, where should i look to see if i have recieved the money?
 
i have never had it take more than 5 minutes ever. Either the balance should be in the account and the recent activities shoudl show it orrrr it would be under recent activities but pending either from their bank or from you to accept the payment, but somethign should show there
did they send it tot he correct email?
 
this has happened to me before. Ask them how they sent the money, because if it is an echeck then you may or may not see it... The person sending me money wasn't clear on how they sent it though. I had them re-send it a couple of times before it finally went through.

Well we can't exactly do anything about it since we're not the ones that, you know, made the site and provide the service.
