Increase the FSB step by step and 'watch' stability. The first limiting factor will be memory, if it's not high-quality RAM...

The 600B won't go very far at all, if any.

It's still a Katmai chip and not a Coppermine. You get less flexibility with a processor that is already using the 133MHz FSB, but in any case, the 600B was considered to be already overclocked as Intel had to raise its default voltage to 2.05 volts to remain stable.

600B is a Coppermine CPU. 600B runs at 100mhz FSB. 600EB would be the 133mhz FSB. I know, because I have one. Mine runs at 800mhz, no problem. May go faster, but I have never tried. You will need high quality RAM to do 800, most likely. I could not get 800 until I bought some Mosel Vitelic Rev.2 CAS 143.

SF DUDE you are wrong! The 600B (kC0) has the good old Katmai core with 512K off-die L2 cache. What you have is a 600E (Coppermine/100MHz FSB).

Thats my understanding too. B is 133 mhz Katmai. Not much headroom there. Pays to research the issue BEFORE you buy.

All I could get my cousin's P3-600B to in an ASUS CC820 motherboard (apparently, they're too lazy to ask for a different motherboard from the store) was 667 MHz. But I wasn't very aggresive with my overclocking because I didn't want to freak out my cousin and aunt with a system that kept crashing until I stabilized it hours later.
