After connecting my PC together:

Asus P5B Deluxe M/B
Core 2 Duo E6600
Corsair HX520 PSU
2 GB DDR2 667 SDRAM
WD 1500ADFD HD
ATI AIW X1900 Video Card
Lite On DVD Burner (2)
Antec P180B

So I powered up and got the Asus screen temporarily and then got an error that looked like this.
-->

New CPU Installed.

Please enter Setup to configure your system.

Chassis Intruded!

Fatal Error...System Halted.

-->

What's going on?

The New CCPU and enter setup message are normal..the Chassis Intrution warning isnt. There should be a Chassis intrustion header on the mobo..check your manual and make sure the shorting switch is in the proper postion if you dont have a chassis intrustion cable connected. Either you moved the jumper or the jumper came from the mfg. in the wrong position. If it is in the proper position try clearing the CMOS settings and rebooting.

FCBarca, check out page 2-32 in your manual, it explains the function of the Chassis Intrusion connector, and the proper placing of the jumper, should you not utilize the function.
