I am trying to overclock my x2 4400 to 2.7 ghz on my a8n32 sli deluxe. However, everytime I increase the fsb over 235(235x11) it gives me an "overclocking error" messege, so everytime I have to go back and re-configure the numbers to 230. The V-core is currently at 1.475 v. I am using corsair 2x1gb xms pc3200c2 pt memory 2.5-3-3-6 1T at 231.0 mhz. In addition, I am using the 4-pipe hsf, could that be the problem, or is there any other variable or factor that is not letting me increse the speed?
Thank you.
p.d. this is my first time overclocking. :)

I really don't think that the problem is the memory, but rather, with the motherboard or the cpu. Thanks. Is there any body with the same mobo or cpu having the same problem?

It most likely is the memory if you haven't tried it at a lower speed... also make sure HTT multiplier is 4x, not 5
