Im just starting to get into overclocking and lastnight i attempted to over clock my CPU with in the 3500+ Venice core. I got it running stable at 2420 MHz with stock heatsink/fan. I also have a question....my HTT is at 220.0 MHz and my multiplier is at x11.0....is that good or bad? that might seem like a retarded question but remember, im new to this. And one more question....is there any way to overclock RAM? or atleast tweak the RAM timmings to increase the speeds

well when you increase your FSB you are also increasing your RAM speeds, so in a way you are doing so already.

depends on the RAM you have. I have corsair value RAM so although I overclocked my CPU I used a memory divider so that my RAM would stay at 400mhz effective

try to keep as close to 200 mhz as you can. cpu speed > ram anyday. theres more on dividers in the quick and dirty OC guide.
