from what i remember from high school all the kids who SOLD drugs were scumbags and i wouldn't complain if any of them got time for selling drugs. Remember kids as young as 14 are in High School. Thats just wrong.

No its not. If you sell drugs, you get a harsh sentence, his might be overly harsh, it will probably get knocked down to 10-12. He would have had a slap on the wrist if he was just busted for possession.

Umm no it is not entrapment at all. Sorry. The sentence was too harsh in my opinion but one thing this case was not was entrapment.

Entrapment is a justification defense when a defendant is deceived into wrongdoing. This only works if a defendant who is not predisposed to commit a crime is enticed or coerced into committing a crime that they normally would not do.

They shoulda just smacked him upside the head ... locked him in jail for a few days ... and then put him on probation ...
26 years of a persons life for a minor crime is quite excessive. (IMO any crime where nothing is stolen, and nobody is hurt or decieved is quite minor) I could understand maybe 1 or 2 years ... but 26 years ... what a waste

But this is America's War on Drugs! Our great nation will show the world that we will not put up with the scourge perpetrated on our culture by these drug lords, these merchants of terror who would enslave our children. We are putting these evildoers on notice, that we will smoke them out of their holes.. And the nations that currently harbor them are also on notice: You're either with us, or against us.

We're calling for zero tolerance; yes, it's harsh, but we must make sacrifices to prove our resolve. Make no mistake, we will show the world that we will pass this test.

Supports terrorism? I find some of those ads - that drugs support terrorism, and SUV's support it too - a little far fetched. Especially those things about SUV's - by that logic, anything that uses gasoline supports terrorism; even the government uses gas.

This person was selling drugs - it seems that yes, he has some issues that need to be solved. I don't know that he's going to get much help in prison.

But, fvck the drug war. It's a waste of money, limit on freedoms, and puts high school students growing a plant away for life... His life is completely ruined now.

Drugs do NOT support terrorism. Anyone that believes that is a fool. Sorry, but it's just another thing that our government has made up to attack our emotions. It's the government's fault that drug prices are so high... so it makes it lucrative for terrorists.
