First Time in a Tanning Bed

Kinda scary, I'm claustrophobic and just knew I'd burn to death if I got trapped in.

But, with the help of a sock, it is the first step in removing tanlines. It's gotta be better to lay in that thing for 10 mins than to lay in the sun for 3 hours to get the same effect, no?

Yeah, much better idea to lay in an ultraviolet oven...

Goody, say hello to cancer.

What's with the sock man? I'm a little creeped out.

I hope you guys don't tan EVERYTHING...the sock is to keep your favorite member pale...comfortably pale.

I think tanning beds are a lot worse for you then actually getting a real tan...but i'm not sure. There's so many twisted facts and information out there now that it's hard to keep it straight.

Then you can't call it an all-over tan, now can you? 😛

I find it odd that you would use the sock. After all, your title is "Golden Member." Harharhar, laugh at my corny joke, I command you!

$2 for 10 minutes.

wow thats pretty cheap..

so the reccomended dose is 10 min maximum per day?

I think it depends on how much tan you already have. Have you been out this summer mowing grass and stuff? I have but I still started at 10 minutes. Plus, they have different types of beds (some are stronger, etc)... so just pick a place and get a consultation.

well I play golf a lot... and I want to get rid of my farmers tan.

Did you light up a smoke in there too?

That way you can get skin cancer & lung cancer...

You wouldn't believe how many old men I know with skin grafted over their ears, nose, etc to cover up a huge ole' patch of skin cancer that's had to be cut off. they sure aren't pretty anymore🙁

why do you care about tan lines?

Some people like to look normal when they take their shirt and/or other garments off.

Having a sock hanging from your junk is not normal.

just mow the lawn with your shirt off, problim solved, you save 2$ and you can drink while doing it

and to correct you, you woudl be looking abnormal seeing as most of the general population does not go taning

i beleive teh statistic is that if you go tanning more then 3 times per year you are 7 times more likely to get skin cancer then someone that does not tan,

LOL. Come out of the closet, already!
I'd rather spend 3 hours on the beach for free than spend even a penny in a tanning bed.
Then again, I spend plenty of time at the beach so I guess it's not really a "chore" to spend 3 hours in the sun.

After one summer of cold water and wet suits, my back lost the resistance to sun that I had developed through many years of Summer competitive swimming. That and after my mom's numerous bouts with melanoma, I don't care about tan lines nearly as much as I care about skin cancer.

As a result, I always wear a lycra rash guard. It's a good thing I'm not easily embarassed with tan lines like these!
