I just bought my case, an Aspire XNAVIGATOR with a 500 watt power supply and 6 fans. That cost me about 170. My budget is around 1500. I wish to purchase the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe board, as well as the AMD 64 3500 + Winchester core. (90NM) I have been searching around for the best price, looking at combo's of these two items. Monarch Computer's seems to have the best deal, at 520. (Includes Thermaltech A1772 fan). Has anyone done bussiness with them? Reliable? Any other online stores that would be able to compete with their price?

before you do anything, make sure you get a branded reliable psu - don't just go with the biggest numbers - leads to problems

if you take a cheapo psu in one hand, and oh say an antec in the other, you will notice the antec is much heavier. thats because the cheapo psu had corners cut and isnt nowhere near as good of quality

Once you are happy with your parts selection, I do recommend Monarch. I used them for some of the components of my last build and they were fast and followed up nicely to ensure I was satisfied.
