Recently I've begun to game on my PC alot more than my consoles and I really can't ever see myself playing on a console again. So my question to you more experienced folk is are these good parts to build a gaming computer and would thay all work together. From what limited knowledge I have and what the TigerDirect site says they should work together fine, but this is alot of money and I want a system that works so why not ask more experienced people. Heres the planned system:
Motherboard: AsusP6X8D Premium
CPU: Core i7 960 3.2GHz
RAM: Patriot G2 Division 2 8GB
Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 ATX Full Tower
Graphics Card: XFX ATI Radeon HD 6870
Power Supply: 850W Ultra X3
The only thing is that I already own the graphics card and power supply (I got them from a buddy for cheap). Thanks for any and all help.
