It's a bit pricey but my parents are giving me about $1500, so I can just pay the rest with my own money. I'll mainly use it for gaming and school work for college. Again, I just want to know if it has all the cables and stuff I need or if everything are compatible with each other or if these are quality parts.

Thank you.

Congratulations, you have picked a great configuration.

You are missing a good aftermarket heatsink, like a ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme, Tuniq Tower 120, or a Zalman 9700. You'll need it to overclock your Q6600.

And I'm assuming you're overclocking; otherwise there is no reason to pay more than $70 for 2GB DDR2 800.

I'm not really interested or even feel comfortable on overclocking right now, maybe later in the future. I'm still a "newbie" in this whole PC hardware thing, the only experience I have is when I installed another hard drive on my old desktop computer.

I guess I'll be getting that memory instead.

Oh, and also, are floppy drives still needed? I haven't used one in about... 6 years but I hear that you need them if your installing some drivers and stuff.

No, the really aren't needed. There are SOME things such as BIOS flashing and RAID drivers. But this can all be done with CD's, or in windows now.
